Hedy Nelson has been in the commercial real estate industry through her law practice and brokerage for over 20 years. She joined Keller Williams Select Realtors in the summer of 2018 as Director of the Commercial Division, where she started and is growing that market center’s commercial real estate practice.  Her commercial real estate practice focuses on multi-family, retail and landlord/tenant representation.

Ms. Nelson combines her legal experience with her knowledge of real estate transactions to bring her clients a unique perspective and skill set. Her law and brokerage licenses permit her to offer her clients a wide range of services.  With over 30 years of experience negotiating and drafting contracts, Ms. Nelson enjoys helping her clients realize their business and real estate investing goals.

Ms. Nelson has an extensive network of contacts due to her active participation in the real estate community.  She chaired the 2018-2019 Maryland REALTORS® Commercial Alliance, and chairs Maryland REALTORS® Annual Commercial Real Estate Symposium, a full-day conference considered a must-attend event by commercial real estate agents across Maryland.  Nelson also currently serves on the Maryland REALTORS® Statewide Forms Committee and the Anne Arundel County Association of REALTORS® Forms Committee. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Anne Arundel County Association of REALTORS®. Maryland REALTORS® awarded Nelson the President’s Award for her involvement in planning and organizing its 2017 Annual Commercial Real Estate Symposium in Baltimore. In addition, Nelson served as President of Women’s Council of REALTORS® Anne Arundel from 2015-2017.
